The 1998 Coleccion (90% Mourvedre and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon that receives a small amount of barrique aging) is more elegant and complex, revealing notes of licorice, black raspberries, and plums. It possesses good density, firm tannin, excellent purity and ripeness, and the potential to last for 7-8 years. It is also a very good value.
