The 2010 Dolcetto d’Alba is a highy attractive, restrained wine laced with sweet dark fruit, spices, mint, violets and licorice. This mid-weight, stylish Dolcetto is full of varietal character. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015. This is a solid set of new releases from Francesco Rinaldi. I would be hard pressed to name another winery that has made more significant improvements in the overall quality of the wines than Francesco Rinaldi.
