The 2010 Aglianico del Vulture comes from a single vineyard with six hectares of vine that range from 50 to 100 years in age. The balanced 2010 vintage has shaped a beautiful interpretation with compelling black fruit intensity. Ripe plum, ash, smoke, spice and grilled herb rise from the glass. In the mouth, the wine shows density and creamy richness that is rare to find in Aglianico. It ages up to 18 months in French oak.
