The 2007 ‘Margaret’ Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored and scented of fresh black currant, anise, tobacco and a whiff of dried thyme. Medium bodied and crisp in the mouth, it is fractionally lean in the mid-palate, though the medium to firm tannins are fine and it finishes long. It should be best approached from 2011 to 2017.
