The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc gives medium intense aromas of warm grapefruit and pineapple and medium-high acid balanced by a good amount of tropical flavor and finishing long. This is for drinking now through 2012. The ‘Ten Men’ label has been developed by Dominique’s son, Ben, referring to 10 generations of Portet men that have been involved in winemaking in Bordeaux (from where Dominique originates) and now in Victoria. Dominique Portet does not have a US importer but exports to Dubai, Hong Kong, China, Holland, Canada and Singapore.
