The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Gold Label from Coonawarra is a bit herbaceous aromatically but ripe and layered on the palate. Blackberry, black currant, and chocolate notes emerge leading to a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. It will evolve for 1-2 years and be at its best from 2010 to 2018.
