The 2008 Gran Reserva Malbec is a worthy successor to the 2007 (rated 93 points). It was sourced from a 4.4-acre parcel of 41-year-old Malbec vineyards and aged in French oak for 18 months. It displays greater density and richness than the Reserva cuvee along with an alluring bouquet of spicy black fruits. Give this nicely proportioned Malbec another 3-4 years of cellaring and drink it from 2014 to 2023+. Importer: Pavi Wines, St. Helena, CA; tel. (707) 963-9566
