This wine opens to a lean and bright appearance with a very pale, gold-tainted pigment. The 2019 Bolgheri Vermentino Caccia al Palazzo shows citrus, green apple, peach and a touch of papaya on what is a fun and informal bouquet that could work with take-out Thai green curry. You might also taste a hint of dried sage or mint. Some 14,000 bottles were made.
