Looking at the Rasteau releases, the 2011 Rasteau checks in as a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah that’s aged half in vat and half in French oak tanks. Medium-bodied, upfront and fruit loaded, with perfumed berry fruit, violets, spring flowers and mint, this lively, juicy effort should be consumed over the coming 4-5 years.
