The 2006 Torre de Golban Reserva was aged for 15 months in French oak. Wood smoke, mineral, Asian spices, and leather are some of the scents emanating from this nicely proportioned wine. In the mouth savory black fruits, pepper, and ample fine-grained tannin make an appearance suggesting that the wine will benefit from another 2-3 years of cellaring. It will offer a drinking window extending from 2013 to 2021.
