The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Christopher’s Vineyard is a backward, mineral-laced, dense, and almost excruciatingly tannic Cabernet Sauvignon with a deep ruby/purple color and notes of wet steel, crushed rocks, black currants, and pain grille. It is primary, and even for a vintage that is relatively forward and opulent, this wine needs plenty of patience from any potential buyer. Give it at least 4-5 years of bottle age, keep your fingers crossed, and you might turn up with a wine someday that is much better than my score suggests.Tel. (800) 355-8008; Fax (707) 433-9469
