Medium-deep ruby-purple colored, the 2009 Pinot Noir gives intense aromas of crushed black cherries, black raspberries and warm cranberries with nuances of star anise, dried spearmint and damp leaves. Medium-full bodied, it offers a mouthful of juicy, vibrant red berry flavors, crisp acid and a medium level of silky tannins, finishing with lingering notes of baking spices. Drinking now, it should cellar to 2015.
