The 2012 Crianza was quite reduced when poured. It has 5% Cabernet Sauvignon to complement the Tempranillo, and it matured for 17 months in oak barrels without racking, which makes me wonder if it's the reason for the reductive character. It is a lot less oaky than the previous vintage, but it needs some time to breathe. It feels quite fresh and fruity with a soft texture and ripe tannins, quite easy and pleasant to drink after that reduction blows off. Decant in advance. 75,000 bottles produced.
