The 2000 Barolo Cerretta, riper and spicier in aroma than the Prapo and with an additional complexity from the notes of herbs and roses, is also fuller, rounder, and more complete on the palate, though the characteristic dryness of many wines of the 2000 vintage is also perceptible.
