The lychee and rose-scented 1999 Gewurztraminer Cuvee Theo is a rich, expansive, medium-bodied offering. At this stage, this supple, lush, and fruit-packed (mostly white peaches and apricots) wine tastes more like a Pinot Gris than a Gewurztraminer. However, hints of mango and other exotic fruits come to the fore in its sumptuously textured finish. Drink it between 2003 and 2007. Importer: Vineyard Brands, Birmingham, AL; tel. (205) 980-8802
