Cut from the same mold as the Terra Barossa, but slightly downsized is the 2004 Riesling Milton Park. Lighter-bodied with more lemon zest and spring flower characteristics, its good acidity nicely balances the residual sugar. This successful, reasonably large operation (666 acres) with vineyards dating back to the 1850s offer an assortment of wines under various labels (Milton Park, Terra Barossa, Shotfire Ridge, and William Randall). Their offerings are undeniably seductive, modern-styled, classic South Australian wines exhibiting copious quantities of upfront fruit, full body, and abundant oak. The proprietors claim they “over deliver.”Importers: Kysela Pere et Fils, Winchester, VA; tel (540) 722-9228 and Grape Expectations Wine Imports, Raleigh, NC; tel. (919) 781-1655
