The 2007 white, a blend of 65% Roussanne and 35% Viognier, is another excellent example of how well this blend works from select Central Coast sites. A light gold/green-hued color is accompanied by aromas of apricots, white peaches, honeysuckle, and lychee nuts. With a terrific texture, full-bodied richness, and a style reminiscent of some of the brilliant whites made by Manfred Krankl at Sine Qua Non, this beautiful effort can be enjoyed over the next several years.Booker Vineyard, a 40-acre vineyard planted on limestone soils just west of Highway 101, continues to strut its stuff after its impressive debut in 2005. I retasted several of the 2006s I had last year, and the ratings were slightly elevated.Tel. (805) 237-7367; Fax (805) 237-7368
