The 1993 Marsanne is a more neutral-scented wine than the 1993 Chardonnay, exhibiting herb-tinged fruit scents and flavors, medium body, a chewy, chunky mouthfeel, and a good finish. Although more monolithic than the Chardonnay, it is an attractive Marsanne for drinking over the next 1-2 years.Mitchelton continues to turn out attractively priced wines offering plenty of up-front appeal and character.
