The 2015 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Vendemmia Tardiva Terminum (375 milliliters) pours from the bottle with golden, honey-like thickness. This late-harvest dessert wine delivers lots of syrupy sugar and fruity sweetness. The wine offers bright tones of dried apricot, candied orange peel and sweet almond marzipan. This wine demonstrates how high residual sugar can be harnessed to produce elegance and finesse. The grapes are dried on the vines and are hit by botrytis. Only 4,000 precious bottles were produced.
