The red wines begin with the 2006 Marti Reserva, a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot. Aromas of underbrush, brier, spice box, leather, and assorted black fruits compose the bouquet of this youthful, structured, but well-balanced red. Spicy and long in the mouth, it is likely to evolve for another 3-4 years and provide enjoyment through 2021. Albet I Noya is a progressive winery that farms organically and is willing to experiment.
