The 2010 Crianza displays a bright, translucent cherry color and a perfumed nose, probably because of the 10% of Garnacha used in the blend. Notes of dried roses, red fruit and subtle spices in the nose and a very polished palate with good balance make it very easy and pleasant to drink. The wood is perfectly integrated in the wine. Drink 2014-2016.
Bodegas Beronia's main shareholder since 1982 is Gonzalez-Byass from Jerez. They produce five million bottles per year, which are widely available, since they export to over 100 countries. The wines are very good, if a little predictable.
