The 2004 Exaltos Cepas Viejas is produced from 60-year-old Mencia vines and receives 9 months aging in barrel. Purple in color, it offers a stylish nose of crushed flowers, cinnamon, minerals, and raspberry. Medium-bodied and currently tightly wound, the wine has a firm core of fruit and the structure to evolve for several years. For those with patience, this wine should become outstanding.
