The 2006 Gran Cuvee is a custom bottling for importer Eric Solomon. It is composed of equal parts Xarello, Macabeo, and Chardonnay. Light gold-colored, it has an enticing bouquet of mineral, brioche, and toast. It has a persistent stream of tiny bubbles and an attractive mousse. On the palate a flavor of lemon curd emerges along with crisp mineral notes. It has good weight on the mouth and a lengthy finish. The Celler Gramona N.V. Gran Cuvee received 88 points in Issue 175.
