The 2017 Memorias, from Maipo Andes, is a blend of 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 18% Syrah, 14% Carménère, 8% Petit Verdot and 8% Malbec, barrel-aged for 22 months. Violet in color. The ripe black currant and plum aromas mingle with cedar and pepper. The solid, concentrated palate is gently muscular while the tannins bring grip. This is a serious wine that lingers at length on the palate.
