The 2017 Alto Adige Sauvignon Puntay is a great, easy-drinking and fresh expression for salads and spicy Asian food. It's a well-balanced and fresh expression with lots of floral definition. It's immediate but crisp and easy. Three-fourths of the wine goes into large oak casks for six months, and the rest is pumped into stainless steel. Some 6,000 bottles were made.
