The 2009 Iugiter is a blend of Garnacha, Carinena, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from Escaladei and La Vilella Alta, oak-aged for 12 months. Here, there is a suggestion of over-ripeness on the nose with a smudge of alcohol and a tincture of dates and raisin. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent dark cherry and cassis fruit.
