The 2008 Montevertine emerges from the glass with sweet red cherries, mint, flowers and spices. It shows gorgeous inner perfume and lovely balance in a classy, understated style typical of the vintage. This feminine, lithe wine is a solid effort in a challenging vintage. This elegant, supple red is bursting with raspberry and floral aromas and flavors. Though delicate, there's no shortage of structure and Sangiovese's infamous tannins.
