Yering Station's 2007 Chardonnay was 100% barrel fermented incorporating 6-7% new oak (some large). There was no malo-lactic performed but a lot of batonnage and natural yeasts were used to ferment 25% of the wine. It has pronounced aromas of tropical fruits - pineapple and green mango - with a hint of creaminess. Medium-bodied with medium-high acid and some silkiness, this wine has a medium-long finish. Drinking now, this wine should keep to 2014. Importer: Rathbone Wine Group, USA; www.fsfw.com.au
