Coming from Seresin’s Raupo Creek Vineyard, the 2010 Viognier was fermented with wild yeast in two 500L French oak puncheons (one puncheon was new) and aged for 8 months. It is intensely perfumed of honeysuckle and frangipani over a core of ripe apricots, acacia honey, spicy poached pears and coriander seed. Full bodied and with a silky texture, it has a great line of refreshing acidity balancing out the richness and giving lift throughout the long finish. Drinking beautifully now, it should keep to 2015+.
