The impressive 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon has been aged 20 months in French oak casks. It is one of the more elegant, stylish Australian Cabernets, without the thickness and heaviness often found in many of that country's wines. It exhibits a redcurrant/cassis-scented nose, medium body, good acidity, fine purity, and a sense of elegance and restraint. The subtle note of French oak adds class to this noteworthy effort, which should be consumed over the next 7-8 years.
