The ruby-colored 1999 Nuits-St.-Georges Aux Lavieres has one of the lightest colors I have ever seen in a Leroy wine. It reveals raspberry and sweet cherry aromas that lead to its medium-bodied, candied berry, and red fruit-flavored character.
