Weingart turned in fine performances with two cuvees of Bopparder Hamm Feuerlay Riesling Auslese. Fuder #10 reveals an exotic, cherry, cinnamon, mineral, and lychee nut-scented bouquet reminiscent of a varietal other than Riesling. The spiciness continues in the medium-bodied flavors that exhibit excellent fatness, depth, and richness. This will be a controversial, but to my mind, an immensely tasty, decadently-styled Riesling for drinking over the next 3-4 years. A Terry Theise Estate Selection, imported by Milton S.
