From the bottom of the H?llberg and the plateau of the Heerkretz and vinified in two-thirds stainless steel and one-third oak, the 2018 Riesling Gutswein offers a deep, ripe, concentrated and elegant bouquet with remarkably fine mineral features. Gutswein? Really? On the palate, this is a charmingly fruity and perfectly round Riesling with grip and good length on the pure and mineral finish. Pretty articulated for an "estate wine." Tasted at the domaine in March 2020.
