The 2010 Reserve Marlborough Pinot Noir was matured 16 months in French barriques (25% new). Medium ruby-purple in color, it presents intense black raspberry compote and wild blueberry notes with suggestions of red currants, lavender, anise, cedar and black pepper. Medium bodied and with just enough warm red berry and spice flavors in the mouth, the flesh is supported by a low to medium level of fine tannins and lively acid, finishing long. Drink it now to 2016.
