The Corton Les Bressandes has a pretty bouquet of new oak and cherries and the best color of this lot, but is hard and ungracious. The 1986s from Prince Florent de Merode resemble some of our country's fitness freaks- hard, lean, skinny, but they are boring. In short, most wines here have an excess of tannins for their meager fruit.
