The 1990 Nero Misto, a blend of 60% Petite Sirah, 20% Zinfandel, and the rest an assorted field blend, offers a spicy, earthy, peppery, black fruit-scented nose, tasty, medium to full-bodied flavors, considerable tannin, plenty of depth, and a fine sense of balance. Tough at the moment, another 1-2 years of aging should cause the tannins to melt away. It should last for up to a decade.
