The 2005 Marchese di Villa Marina (Cabernet Sauvignon) emerges from the glass with tons of dark fruit, tar, minerals and smoke. Still inward and tightly wound, the wine covers the palate as the aromas and flavors build towards the finish. Sweet herbs, flowers and menthol add nuance on the close.
