The 2006 Pinot Noir Temperance Hill is dark ruby/purple-colored with blueberry and black cherry aromas. On the palate, it has serious weight and a beefy personality along with plenty of smooth textured, savory flavors. It will offer prime drinking from 2010 to 2018. Adelsheim Vineyard, founded in 1971, continues to be a benchmark winery under the stewardship of David Adelsheim. The winery makes a full range of excellent white wines offered at very fair prices but the focus remains Pinot Noir.
