While the Les Granilites functions as the mid-tier Saint Joseph Blanc, the quality of this cuvee continues to soar and it stands up to most other estate's top white. The 2014 Saint Joseph Blanc les Granilites is a head turner, and along with the 2013, the best vintages of these cuvee made. Checking in as 100% Marsanne and raised in equal parts demi-muids (two to three years in age) and stainless steel, it offers medium-bodied richness and beautifully integrated acidity to go with ample sautéed citrus, quince, charcoal and caramelized stone fruit. Drink this seriously good white anytime over the coming 5-7 years.
