The 2006 Crianza is 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 12 months in seasoned French oak. It reveals an expressive nose of cedar, tobacco, mineral, cinnamon, and black cherry. Medium-bodied, structured, but not as dense as the 2005, it has plenty of spicy black fruit and enough ripe tannin to evolve for another 2-3 years. Drink it from 2011 to 2021.
