There is one white wine (Coonawarra is predominantly a red wine GI), the 2008 Aradia Chardonnay. It spent 9 months in 35% new French oak hogsheads and was not put through malolactic fermentation. Light gold-colored, it displays a nose of toast, baking spices, poached pear, and apple. Medium to full-bodied, it has plenty of fruit, savory flavors, lively acidity, and good balance with the oak well integrated. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
