The outstanding 1997 Tokay-Pinot Gris Rangen de Thann Clos St. Theobald has a massively expressive nose of botrytis-laced apricot jam. This fat, honeyed, medium-bodied wine is densely packed with sweet yellow fruits, candied lemons, and red currants. It is well-proportioned, fresh, elegant, and boasts a long, flavorful finish.
