The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Village, which apparently finished its malolactic quite late, has a clean, slightly conservative bouquet with tightly wound red cherry and crushed strawberry aromas, a subtle tinned peach note in the background. The palate is well balanced and boasts a commendable sense of energy. It feels a little angular at the moment, but there is density and weight on the finish married with satisfying tension.
