The 2010 Grenache Blanc Thompson Vineyard is surprisingly rich for a variety that tends to yield much more minerally whites. Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty to admire in the wine’s textural richness and polish, but readers seeking a varietal expression aren’t going to find that here.
