The 2012 Alges is a blend of 40% Garnacha, 40% Tempranillo and 20% Syrah matured in French oak barriques for nine months. There are balsamic aromas, certainly ripe, with something minty and smoky, showing something from each grape. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and a nice mouthfeel, ending dry. Approximately 100,000 bottles were produced.
