The 2022s are slowly filtering in, and I am tasting them with relish. The follow-up vintage to the great 2021, 2022 is emerging as another superstar, and 50/50 producers seem to prefer one over the other. So here, this 2022 Riesling Joshua Tree is juicy, mineral and generous, with layers of enveloping fruit and fine, pithy acidity rolling over each other in the mouth. Really smart summer drinking, and summer is just around the corner (here in Australia).

The 2006 Riesling “Joshua Tree” is medium straw-colored with an attractive perfume of mineral, spring flowers, lemon-lime, and gooseberry. Dry, crisp, and intensely flavored, it can be enjoyed now with oysters on the half-shell or cellared for 5-7 years. No known American importer.
