The 2020 Chardonnay Wetzel Family Estate offers quince and white peaches on the nose, along with notes of jasmine, beeswax and baker's yeast. The light-bodied palate has slightly underripe, yeasty poached pear flavors, with juicy acidity and a simple, textural finish with a touch of bitterness. Drink it over the next year or two.

The 2019 Chardonnay Wetzel Family Estate is scented of green pears, white flowers, baker's yeast and cashews. The palate is bright, yeasty and perfumed with a lingering touch of texture on the juicy finish. 19,500 cases produced.

The 2017 Chardonnay Wetzel Family Estate opens with notes of honey-drizzled almonds, white peach, cut hay and lemon confit with nuances of baker's yeast and white flowers. Light to medium-bodied, it fleshes out in the mouth to tropical-tinged fruits, with juicy freshness to lift the finish. 15,300 cases produced.

The 2016 Chardonnay Wetzel Family Estate is scented of lemon curd, grapefruit and honeycomb with touches of lime blossom and yuzu. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers a great intensity of citrus flavors with a racy backbone and a zippy finish. Great value! 20,000 cases produced.

The 2015 Chardonnay Estate gives straightforward apple and peach notes on the nose with a yeasty undercurrent. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with relatively uncomplicated yet well-crafted stone fruit flavors, finishing with good length and poise. Great value, nicely done!
