The dark ruby-colored 2002 Reserva from a mediocre vintage is slightly compressed both aromatically and on the palate. It has decent flavors, light tannin, and a medium length finish. From a so-so vintage, the 2000 Reserva possesses a dark plum color as well as an evolved, fully mature, sweet bouquet of currants, tobacco, earth, and herbs.
