Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the 2013 Saignee de Pinot Noir is a lean, steely rose that gives up slightly herbal notes of sweet cherries and underbrush. Medium to light-bodied, it lacks some charm, but would certainly be enjoyable on a hot day or as a meal starter.

An outstanding rose that’s made in a classically dry style, the 2012 Saignee de Pinot Noir offers plenty of wild strawberry, dried cherries, garrigue and a pleasant citrus rind-like bitterness on the finish.
