Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Great Western Cabernet Sauvignon gives pronounced notes of creme de cassis, blackberry preserves, lavender, dried mint, chocolate box and cloves. Medium bodied, there is plenty of expressive, vibrant Cabernet fruit on the palate with crisp acid and a firm level of grainy tannins, finishing long and blackberry laced. Approachable now, it should drink well to 2020+. No known USA importer.
